  • The Coaching Manual - thecoachingmanual.com
A great resource for drills, strategy and team development. Some content is locked with the  free membership.
  • United Soccer Coaches - unitedsoccercoaches.org
This site has hundreds of games, activities and drills to use.

  • Sample Practice Plan - (Click the hyperlink) This sample practice plan will give you a guideline to follow when planning your practice sessions. Being prepared for practice not only ensures that every player gets the most out of the session but that everyone has fun - including the coach!

The most important aspects to remember when planning a practice are the 3 L's:

  • NO LINES - keep them moving!
  • NO LAPS - avoid this as a consequence, make players do something with the ball instead!
  • NO LECTURES - keep your coaching points brief, to the point and get them playing again
