Portland Community Football Club was Awarded $15,000 from Trail Blazers Foundation Fund of Oregon Community Foundation
PORTLAND, OR – Portland Community Football Club (PCFC) is proud to announce it has been awarded a $15,000 grant from the Trail Blazers Foundation Fund of Oregon Community Foundation. This generous PLAY Grant will support PCFC’s mission to provide equitable access to soccer for youth in underrepresented communities across Portland.
The PLAY grant—an initiative of the Trail Blazers Foundation in partnership with OCF—aims to remove barriers and create opportunities for youth to play, grow, and thrive through sports. With this funding, PCFC will expand its inclusive programming, purchase new equipment, subsidize player fees, and continue building a safe and supportive environment where all kids can belong and succeed on and off the field.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Trail Blazers Foundation and Oregon Community Foundation for their continued investment in Portland’s youth and community development,” said Jerika Ferguson, Executive Director of Portland Community Football Club. “This grant strengthens our ability to make soccer more accessible and equitable for all.”
The Trail Blazers Foundation Fund of Oregon Community Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that align with the Portland Trail Blazers' commitment to social equity, youth empowerment, and healthy communities.
