The love of this beautiful game starts at an early age

Our Development Level is intended to teach young, new players all the basics they need to build their ball handling skills, coordination, and foundations of the game. Our experienced coaches provide organized, skill-based trainings that keep young players engaged and having a lot of fun. We believe that the love of this beautiful game starts at an early age.

The program is split into two playing levels so that players are challenged but also find a lot of success at practice and in games.

  • Beginner Level - This level is best for players who have never played and need plenty of time and instruction to learn the basics. Usually this level is for 4 - 7 years old.

  • Advanced Level - This level is best for players who have played for at least a year and have been successful in growing their basic skills. Usually this level is for 8-9 years old.

A higher level of training and play

The Competitive Level is for players 10 - 18 years old that are ready for a high intensity level of training and play. This level is a building block to prepare for our travel level teams.

A commitment to attend two practices and all games is REQUIRED. We also expect players to work on their own skills outside of practice for at least 30 minutes, 3 times a week.

Players at this level are expected to take their training time seriously with the intention of improving every week. Playing time is dependent on practice attendance in addition to work ethic and skill improvement. Our coaches also highly value players who build up their teammates, look for opportunities to encourage others and represent our club proudly on and off the field.

A higher level of training and play

The Travel level is for the most advanced players  who are 11 - 14 years old and have a strong mastery of basic skills plus a high work ethic and strong mentality in order to play at a higher level. This level requires travel around the state and out of state for tournaments.

We require the highest level of commitment from both the player and the family. It is expected that the player attend all scheduled practices and games. It is also required that the player puts in 45 minutes of additional training on their own outside of practice at least 3 times a week.  This level of play also requires a higher fee paid to PCFC because the cost of participating at state level games and tournaments costs PCFC more money. As always our goal is to keep participation at ALL levels affordable and accessible, so we will work with your family if assistance is needed.

We have secured a sponsor for this specific level of play which has allowed us to provide free, high quality uniforms, free player card fees and a discount on team backpacks. It is important that players on this team treat their uniform and gear with even more respect as they are representing our club on a statewide and professional level.
