Qualifications:
Experience in marketing and brand development in either for-profit or non-profit business
As a small non-profit organization it is important that we increase our visibility within the Portland area and beyond in order to bring in more volunteers, donors, participants and community partners. We need someone who is passionate about our mission of increasing accessibility of high quality soccer to marginalized communities and who has an understanding of how to advertise what we offer not only to our consumers, but also to potential donors, community partners and sponsors. You don't have to know a thing about how the game of soccer is played but just a passion for creating social change through soccer and marketing!
Requirements
This position can be done remotely. You will also work in collaboration with our social media Team Captain and Team Members.

As a team member you would work closely with the social media consultant and Team Captain, Mason Hiatt.
Time Commitment - 1-2 hours a week
Qualifications:
Experience in creating content and managing multiple social media platforms
Knowledge of current social media trends and platform functionalities
Assisting our social media consultant who is the Team Captain for our social media department
Soccer experience or knowledge is not required, but it would be preferred since this position would require connecting with other soccer enthusiasts.
Currently our organization uses Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to connect with our supporters, families and partners.
Requirements
This position is done mostly from wherever you have internet connection, but in order to get a true sense of how unique our organization is we would also really like you to come out and visit a few practices or games a couple times a month (Practices Monday and Wednesday evenings; Games on Saturdays/Sundays).
Bi-lingual - English/Spanish a Plus!
fundraiser
Time Commitment: 3-5 hours/month (this increases in the final 30 days before the event). This position is shared with other team members
Currently we hold a large annual fundraiser in September which would require an increase in hours per month of volunteer work during that time.
You would work with a committee of other volunteers and the Fundraising Event Team Captain to collaborate on the list of activities below
Helpful Skills:
Experience in soliciting in-kind donations and/or event sponsors
Experience in fundraising development and/or planning
Experience in creating engaging fundraising campaigns, events, online platforms, etc
As a member of this team, you will play in one or more of these positions:
Outreach to donors for auction items
Securing the venue (when in-person) or coordinating the virtual event on a virtual fundraising platform.
Coordination of sponsors
Point person for all the donated auction items
Developing a presentation of items
Developing a run of show for the day of event.
Requirements:
90% remote; 10% availability for day of the fundraiser
