FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PORTLAND, Ore. – [Date] – Alaska Airlines has received the Portland Business Journal Innovation in Philanthropy Award for its partnership with the Portland Trail Blazers, RAJ Sports, POIC and Portland Community Football Club (PCFC).
We are honored to take part in this incredible partnership with Alaska Airlines. They’ve supported our organization with 1 Million Airlines points for PCFC! Because of this we’ve been able to bring thoughtful and competitive coaches to Portland to support our youth athletes on the field, and in the classroom. We are also working with our High School players to visit college campuses, and have opportunities for team travel.
This partnership has been a milestone for our organization and youth. Alaska Airlines are true community partners, going beyond the ball!
“We are proud to be part of this partnership and honored that it was recognized by the Portland Business Journal,” said Jerika Ferguson, Executive Director, Portland Community Football Club. “Alaska Airlines, the Trail Blazers, RAJ Sports and POIC showed what is possible when organizations work together for the community. This recognition belongs to every partner, and to the families and young people this work supports.”
PCFC thanks Alaska Airlines for its leadership and its fellow partners, the Portland Trail Blazers, RAJ Sports and POIC, for their commitment to the community. PCFC also thanks the Portland Business Journal for the recognition.
